These nasal-only samples are an additional reliable method for collecting respiratory samples for the detection of respiratory pathogens.
to whom it is intended
- This test is intended to identify carriers of the virus (ill or asymptomatic) who are unable to perform the nasopharyngeal swab test.
- Advised for children and specific more sensitive groups who are unable to perform the nasopharyngeal swab test.
- Self-harvesting is not allowed, and the test is always performed by the technician.
