Which antibodies are searched for in this test and what is the meaning of your result?
expand_more- IgG and IgA antibodies are directed to the S1 protein, specific for SARS-CoV2;
- IgM antibodies are directed to the virus's "N" protein (less specific than S1) and generally follow the appearance of IgG and IgA antibodies to SARS-CoV2;
- Cross-reactivities with viruses of the SARS1 group may occur;
What is the use of this test?
